This is an Editorial piece that introduces the Energy Policy Virtual Special Issue on ‘Exploring the Energy Justice Nexus’. This special issue critically evaluates the social justice implications of energy supply and use from a policy perspective. This is the first special issue in any leading journal to do so. It was edited by Darren McCauley, Kirsten Jenkins and Alister Forman.
