Professor Benjamin Sovacool was cited in The Telegraph section ‘Ask a money expert’ on smart meters. The article responds to a consumer concerned about their energy supply being switched off without warning if they agree to installing a smart meter. Prof Sovacool was quoted saying that while a supplier cutting off supply remotely was technically possible it would only be a last resort.
